Our Mission
The National Council of Negro Women is an “organization of organizations” (comprised of 300 campus and community-based sections and 32 national women’s organizations) that enlightens, inspires and connects more than 2,000,000 women and men. Its mission is to lead, advocate for, and empower women of African descent, their families and communities.

NCNW Cincinnati Section Recipient of 2026 Juanita M. Adams Award!
We are excited to announce that the Cincinnati Section–NCNW, National Council of Negro Women, Inc., has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Juanita M. Adams Award, presented by the Urban League Guild of Greater Southwestern Ohio. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to advancing and uplifting our community.
The award will be presented at the ULGSO Guild Annual Legacy Luncheon & Fashion Show on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at the Cintas Center. This year’s theme is:
“The Journey Advances: Inspire, Unite, Impact.”
