Cincinnati Section, NCNW, Inc. Hosts 30th Anniversary Bethune-Height Recognition Breakfast: “Celebrating the Journey”

Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Section of The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. is proud to announce its 30th Anniversary Bethune-Height Recognition Breakfast Fundraiser, themed “Celebrating the Journey.” This milestone event will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at The Manor House in Mason, Ohio, at 10:00 AM.
The breakfast will bring together community leaders, trailblazers, and supporters, including Cincinnati Vice Mayor Jan-Michelle Lemon Kearney and Keynote Speaker Gloria Samuel, to honor three decades of impactful service, advocacy, and empowerment.
For 30 years, the Bethune-Height Recognition Breakfast has served as a pillar of strength and support, championing education, economic empowerment, and social justice initiatives. This year’s event will reflect on the remarkable journey of the Cincinnati Section, celebrate its accomplishments, and set the stage for a bright future.

Attendees will enjoy a memorable morning featuring a keynote address, special recognitions, and inspiring stories of impact. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support scholarship programs, leadership development initiatives, and community outreach efforts led by the Cincinnati Section, NCNW, Inc.

The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW) is a nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, whose legacy is honored with a statue in the U.S. Capitol’s National Statuary Hall. NCNW leads, advocates, and empowers women of African descent, their families, and communities.
Dr. Dorothy Height, who led the organization for 40 years, played a pivotal role in desegregation, women’s suffrage, and voting rights. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her lifelong contributions to justice and equality.
The Cincinnati Section of NCNW, Inc. was chartered on August 10, 1989, and continues to foster positive change through education, service, and community engagement.
